Glass Etching
Sandblasting
Sandblasting plain glass with a combination of high pressure, sand
and air creates a frosted glass panel. Sandblasting can be used on
many types of materials, creating new and exciting effects for both
interior and exterior applications. Materials which can be
successfully sandblasted are glass, plastic, metal and stone.
Shading
Shading is used for delicate imagery. Light and shade play an
important role in producing the perfect effect. With shading, the
blasted objects are given a more solid look and more toning detail.
Deep Bite
This effect which is also known as glass carving is used to create
three dimensional imagery. By etching deeper into the glass, a
hollow is formed which on the face side causes the image to be
projected outward and enhances the detail.
